MINI compressing unit (2013)

A chip treatment system for minimizing and compressing chips. The installation is suitable for processing bushy chips. The Stansz compression unit makes use of the unique, dynamic two-cylinder principle where the material is pressed from two sides. This results in a higher pressure on the material, then pressing against a static wall.

The MINI compression unit consist of:

1.              Hopper (above the gripper and cutting units) for filling the system.

2.              Twin shaft gripper for disentangling bushy chips, each shaft driven by a 2,2 kW gearmotor.

3.              Twin shaft shredder to cut the chips into smaller parts, each shaft driven by a 7,5 kW gearmotor.

4.              Infeed conveyor to the MINI compression unit.

5.              MINI compression unit with infeed hopper for compressing and de-oiling the chips

Specifications:

  • Diameter pucks: 65 mm.
  • 2 Press cylinders: DN 240, each with 2 high pressure position indicators. Integrated drip pan, with level detection and sump pump including flexible hose DN25 for connecting to an existing external oil buffer
  • Maximum compacting pressure 3600 kg/cm2.
  • Hydraulic load sense pump, brand Rexroth, E-motor 15 kW.
  • Siemens control unit, type S7-1212C, with touch panel KTP600.

MIDI compressing unit (2012)

A chip treatment system for compressing chips. The Stansz compression unit makes use of the unique, dynamic two-cylinder principle where the material is pressed from two sides. This results in a higher pressure on the material, then pressing against a static wall.

The MIDI compression unit consist of:

1. Augerbox 1,5m3 for storage of the chips and for dosed feeding of the chips to the compression unit. The augerbox consists of 6 floor augers, a side auger and an incline auger which are all separately driven by a hydraulic motor. The augerbox has a separately hydraulic unit, 11 kW.

2. MIDI compression unit with infeed hopper for compressing and de-oiling the chips

3. Briquette discharge conveyor for discharging the briquettes into a bin, hydraulically driven. Discharge height 1500 mm.

Specifications:

  • Diameter pucks: 80 mm.
  • 2 Press cylinders: DN 280, each with 2 high pressure position indicators. Integrated drip pan, with level detection and sump pump including flexible hose DN25 for connecting to an existing external oil buffer.
  • Maximum compacting pressure 3600 kg/cm2.
  • Hydraulic load sense pump, brand Rexroth, E-motor 30 kW.
  • Siemens control unit, type S7-1212C, with touch panel KTP600.
