Stansz your hotel - for greater efficiency

Save floor space with the linen chute. Remove linen directly and quickly from any floor. After being put through an insertion hatch or door, the used linen drops down to the linen room on the ground floor or in the basement. This does away with piles of linen on the floors.

The Stansz Linen Chute system makes it easy to work efficiently. Lifts, corridors and stairways remain free of linen flows. This creates a more pleasant environment where work can be done more quickly and efficiently. As a result hotel guests have a more pleasant stay. Make smart use of gravity and save on costs and space.

Incorporate the Stansz Linen Chute system into your hotel and experience the convenience of efficient linen removal.

The advantages of Stansz for hotels

    • Save floor space

Because hotel room linen is removed from the floors immediately, linen carts will no longer take up space in corridors and elevators. Nor is additional elevator capacity needed for waste removal. This means that you are able to make optimal use of your available floor space.

    • Sustainable

Durable and quick separation of waste has never been easier. You can decide on the different waste streams you wish to remove and separate from the source. Our chutes are circular and all the parts used in our systems can be recycled.

    • Efficiency

Make smart use of gravity and duct hotel room linen away quickly and efficiently. Personnel no longer need to spend an unnecessary amount of time taking away dirty (used) linen. Create a pleasant environment for hotel guests: lifts and corridors remain free of linen carts and the surroundings look clean and tidy.

    • Save costs

Reduce logistical operations with efficient waste management. Have used linen ducted directly from the floor to the linen room on the ground floor or in the basement. This will save you time, energy and costs.

How does Stansz work in hotels

  • Stansz chute

The square chute is formed from Sendzimir galvanized steel sheets with a thickness of 1.5 mm. The floor holes needed for mounting the chute are arranged perpendicularly above each other and are approximately 50 mm larger than the size of the chute. The top of the chute is closed and a ventilator can be fitted as an option.

  • Stansz intake door or hatch

The intake openings can be fitted with a left or right turning door of approx. 500 x 600 mm. Or choose an intake hatch with hinges mounted at the top or bottom. Both options are fully assembled with the possibility of a built-in frame. All intake openings are installed at a minimum height of 1.10 meters. This means that a fall-in protection device is not needed.

  • Stansz operating system

The hatches or doors are fitted with handles for opening and closing. The control system with electrical interlock gives an impulse to the access openings for the acoustic and visual signalling ‘release’ or ‘blocking’. When a door is opened, the other doors are blocked.

  • Stansz outlet and storage

The chute is equipped with a fixed outlet in the basement or on the ground floor. The linen bags fall into a closed room, in a cart or on the ground. For more storage capacity, a linear storage system is another option. As soon as the first linen cart is full, the chute collection tray slides to an empty cart. This ensures a continuous flow and reduces waste nuisance to an absolute minimum.

  • Stansz outlet met linen carousel

The chute is equipped with a fixed outlet in the basement or on the ground floor. The linen bags fall into a closed room, in a cart or on the ground. For more storage capacity, a linen carousel is another option. As soon as the first linen cart is full, the carousel places an empty cart under the chute outlet. This ensures a continuous flow and reduces waste nuisance to an absolute minimum.

Stansz linen chute options

  • Modular construction

The chute systems are modular in construction. Our technicians assemble the chute system on location according to highly standardized techniques. This makes it possible to install the innovative system in a short time.

  • Ventilator

Choose optimal comfort and install a ventilator on the top of the chute tube. The ventilator creates underpressure in the chute and discharges air. The installation of the ventilator must be carried out in accordance with the applicable building regulations.

  • Service

Optimal operation of your Stansz Laundry Chute System is very important. If you decide to use the Stansz Service Department, our technicians will come for periodic inspections. They will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on location. This will give you the certainty that your system will always work properly.

  • Linen carousel

Choose more storage capacity and optimum flow with a 4-container carousel. As soon as the first linen cart is full, the carousel places an empty cart under the chute outlet. This ensures a continuous flow and reduces waste nuisance to an absolute minimum.
