Holiday Inn Express chooses a Stansz linen chute and sorting system
In the hotel industry, everything revolves around hospitality and experience. And that starts with flawless internal organization. One of the biggest challenges for staff is the efficient and hygienic disposal of used linen. Especially in larger hotels, this requires a lot of time, steps, and floor space.
More and more hotels are therefore opting for a linen chute from Stansz: a smart, safe, and space-saving solution that allows housekeeping staff to quickly and directly dispose of linen to the laundry area. This means fewer internal transport movements and more time for what really matters: the guests.
In collaboration with Arch Teco architects and commissioned by Juri, a tailored solution was developed for the fast disposal of linen at the Holiday Inn Express hotel in Ghent, part of the Marriott hotel group, featuring 126 rooms across 4 floors. By installing a stainless steel chute system with EI60 fire-resistant doors and a fire damper, linen can be removed quickly and fire safety is ensured.
